Abstract

The implementation of central final exams at the end of a students' high school career is common among numerous countries. Many of those countries rely on a centralized approach where exams are designed by a national or federal government department. This paper presents the findings of a thesis that examined central final exams in Germany in order to determine the specific competencies required to solve given tasks from the field of programming.
